Responsibilities
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor systems for security threats and anomalies
- Automate security testing across development stages
- Support cloud infrastructure deployment and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards
- Respond to security incidents and support remediation
- Develop scripts and tools for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with development teams on secure coding practices
- Maintain system documentation and security configurations
- Perform vulnerability scanning and risk assessments
- Enforce access controls and identity management policies
- Optimize system performance and reliability
- Implement encryption and data protection measures
- Participate in system design and architecture reviews
- Support audit readiness and security posture reviews
- Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies
- Contribute to incident response planning and execution
- Promote a culture of security awareness across teams
- Manage configuration baselines for secure environments
- Work with monitoring and logging tools for threat detection
- Support containerization and orchestration platforms
- Apply infrastructure-as-code principles securely
- Troubleshoot security and operational issues
- Ensure secure deployment of application updates
- Assist in certification and accreditation processes
