Weekday is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and manage scalable infrastructures, automate development processes, and sustain highly available multi-cloud environments. This role is central to facilitating our modern AI-driven applications.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines to automate software development and deployment.
- Oversee and enhance cloud infrastructure across platforms to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
- Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and optimize infrastructure and resource usage.
- Work closely with engineering, AI, and product teams to refine the development lifecycle.
- Document systems architecture, deployment processes, and DevOps best practices.
- Guarantee infrastructure and deployment procedures meet security, reliability, and scalability standards.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Solid understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Experience managing and monitoring cloud infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and security.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.
- Experience supporting AI/ML or GenAI-driven applications in production.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices-based systems.
