Modivcare is seeking a DevOps Engineer III to play a key role in optimizing our software development lifecycle and ensuring the efficient, reliable delivery of high-quality applications. You will focus on building scalable infrastructure and enhancing system performance.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
Collaborate with InfoSec to build a secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
Develop and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Implement and manage version control systems (e.g., Git) and artifact repositories.
Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of CI/CD pipelines.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, ELK stack) to track system health.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to diagnose and resolve production issues.
Continuously monitor system capacity, performance, and security, implementing proactive optimization measures.
Develop automation scripts (e.g., TypeScript, Bash, Python) to streamline operational tasks.
Automate deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative DevOps culture.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams and SOPs.
May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Five (5) plus years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Ability to leverage expertise in DevOps methodologies to contribute to software solution development.
Demonstrated experience in developing a continuous deployment workflow.
Demonstrated experience with tracking and improving DORA metrics.
Demonstrated expertise in managing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as TypeScript, Bash, or Python.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

Expertise in automation, infrastructure management, and CI/CD (strongly prefer GitLab CI/CD, but will accept GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (strongly prefer AWS, but will accept Azure and GCP).
Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (strongly prefer Pulumi, but will accept Terraform, CDK, and CloudFormation).
