Symphony Solutions is hiring a DevOps Engineer Intern for a hands-on role designed for 3rd or 4th year university students. This internship is for those passionate about infrastructure, automation, and cloud technologies who are eager to gain real-world experience while continuing their studies.

What You'll Do

Assist with maintaining and improving our infrastructure
Support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
Work with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Help automate routine operational tasks
Participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving system reliability
Collaborate with engineers to refine development and deployment workflows
Learn and apply DevOps best practices directly to real projects

What We're Looking For

You are a 3rd or 4th year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
A basic understanding of Linux systems and experience running Linux in a local environment (VM, WSL, or server)
Familiarity with at least one scripting language like Bash or Python
Basic knowledge of networking concepts
Understanding of containerization concepts (experience with Docker is a plus)
Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts
Hands-on experience through personal projects, home labs, or university coursework
Good problem-solving skills and a strong willingness to learn
The ability to effectively combine this internship with your ongoing university studies
An English level of Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
Interest in applying AI tools to software engineering and DevOps workflows

Nice to Have

Familiarity with any cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure, or others)
Experience with Git and version control workflows
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
Practical experience working with Kubernetes
Personal DevOps, cloud, or infrastructure-related projects
Experience using AI assistants (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) for coding, troubleshooting, or learning
