FullTeam is hiring a DevOps Engineer to maintain and optimize our infrastructure at scale. This part-time role focuses on ensuring robust security standards, including SOC 2 compliance, and driving cloud cost efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure using Terraform across AWS and GCP.
- Support SOC 2 security processes including infrastructure scans and remediation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Identify and implement cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with the core engineering team to ensure infrastructure aligns with product needs.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and maintenance wherever possible.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform.
- Extensive hands-on experience with both AWS and GCP services.
- Proven track record of managing production systems at scale.
- Strong understanding of SOC 2 security requirements and cloud compliance practices.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with infrastructure cost management tools (e.g., CloudHealth, AWS Cost Explorer).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
