As a Developer Relations Engineer in Advocacy, you'll serve as a bridge between developers and the core technology team, helping to align product evolution with real-world needs. Your focus will be on cultivating authentic relationships—both online and at events—by engaging with developers where they are, understanding their challenges, and supporting their success with our hardware and software stack.
What You’ll Do
- Engage developer communities through forums, events, and direct collaboration to gather insights and drive meaningful participation.
- Partner with communications and marketing teams to ensure messaging reflects developer realities and technical accuracy.
- Identify and build trusted relationships with key developers, prioritizing depth of impact over broad outreach.
- Track community sentiment, surface emerging trends, and communicate feedback to internal teams to influence product direction.
- Support hands-on development using tools like Git, GitHub, CI systems, and VSCode, ensuring resources meet practical needs.
What We’re Looking For
You bring a technical foundation and a genuine interest in developer ecosystems. A background in computer science or engineering is ideal, but equivalent experience building within developer communities also fits. You’re fluent in open source workflows and passionate about AI, compute, and the potential of open architecture.
Our culture values first-principle thinking, collaboration, and relentless curiosity. We’re building high-performance RISC-V CPUs and AI platforms with a belief that developers should own and shape the tools they use. If you’re driven by hard problems and the future of open innovation, this role offers a chance to help define it.
This position supports remote work, with the option to collaborate from one of our nearby offices. We welcome applicants at all levels—your skills and approach will determine fit. Compensation and equity are assessed based on experience and role alignment.
