Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve the developer portal, covering onboarding processes, API key handling, documentation standards, SDK access policies, and managing developer accounts throughout their lifecycle.
- Administer the Youth Developer Program, ensuring age-suitable access controls, educational resources, and structured mentorship opportunities.
- Act as the main technical point of contact between the platform team and external developers.
- Deliver direct technical support across all stages of development, from defining use cases and designing solutions to integrating SDKs and APIs, troubleshooting issues, and deploying applications.
- Work with engineering teams to identify common developer challenges and convert them into actionable platform enhancements.
- Oversee daily operations of the Developer Lab, including managing robot hardware loans, booking facilities, ensuring safety protocols, and coordinating with external partners.
- Assist in monetizing lab assets through rental contracts, hosting demo events, and selling hardware development kits.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, business development, legal, and marketing teams to ensure platform operations meet changing developer needs.
- Support launch activities for new APIs, SDK updates, partnership initiatives, and key platform milestones.
- Keep detailed records of portal usage, lab activity, support ticket volume, and developer engagement metrics.
- Generate recurring performance dashboards and reports on key metrics and overall ecosystem health for executive review.
