PNC is seeking a Detection & Investigation Analyst to join our Retail Bank Operations team. In this role, you will be a key player in protecting our customers and the bank by identifying and investigating suspicious activity to minimize financial crime and risk.
What You'll Do
- Participate in reviewing and investigating customer cases, reports, and work for potential and actual loss.
- Minimize fraud, AML, and/or organizational risk.
- Conduct early detection of suspicious activity and contribute to the control and prevention of losses.
- Research and analyze bank activities and reports to detect and prevent possible fraudulent and illegal activities under supervision.
- Escalate issues as appropriate.
- Use defined research procedures to identify and resolve issues.
- Follow standards and practices to mitigate fraud, AML, and other risk exposure and loss.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation of analysis performed.
- Coordinate with internal or external stakeholders as appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience.
- 1+ years of related experience.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking to analyze data and make decisions quickly.

- Compensation Range: $34,000.00 – $59,800.00
