Key Responsibilities
- Manage and guide a team of desktop support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Serve as the main contact for IT support requests, providing timely responses and resolutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktops, laptops, operating systems, software, and connectivity.
- Deliver both remote and on-site support for hardware, applications, and user access needs.
- Install, configure, and update workstations, peripherals, and enterprise software platforms.
- Support local area networks, voice, and video systems during incidents, changes, and project rollouts.
- Collaborate with internal IT groups to design and maintain network services and security controls.
- Advise on appropriate technology upgrades and assist users with adoption.
- Provide basic training to help users navigate systems and applications effectively.
- Document service activities, track inventory, and assist with procurement of IT equipment.
- Respond to security findings by implementing corrective actions and supporting audit requirements.
What You Bring
- A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field — or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of hands-on desktop or IT support experience.
- Proven skills in Windows OS, desktop hardware, and enterprise application support.
- Experience with OS deployment, software updates, and hardware diagnostics.
- Working knowledge of networking technologies including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and TCP/IP.
- Leadership experience coordinating technical teams or projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused communication style.
