Oversee the planning and execution of colocation and hyper-scale data center developments, guiding projects from initial site assessment through construction administration. This remote position plays a central role in aligning engineering teams across disciplines—including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and ICT—to deliver technically sound, client-focused outcomes on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct multi-disciplinary design teams, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance across all project phases.
- Coordinate engineering inputs across civil, MEP, security, fire protection, and building management systems.
- Establish and maintain project and program management frameworks for multi-site initiatives.
- Lead client and stakeholder meetings, presenting progress updates, managing expectations, and addressing technical or scheduling challenges.
- Anticipate project changes, communicate impacts clearly, and implement adjustments efficiently.
- Identify technical or logistical issues early and lead solution development.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for new design engagements and infrastructure modifications.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with client decision-makers and technical teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading design efforts for colocation or hyper-scale data center facilities.
- Engineering background, with preference for mechanical or electrical disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical details clearly.
Work Environment
This role is primarily remote, with flexibility to work from any U.S. location. Occasional travel may be required for client engagements, milestone reviews, or collaborative sessions.
