NaphCare is hiring a Dentist to join our team of medical professionals in the Alabama Department of Corrections - Tutwiler Prison for Women in Wetumpka, Alabama. As a Correctional Dentist, you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide dental care to the incarcerated individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have a variety of duties to keep you engaged. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical and dental needs. The Dentist is responsible for ensuring quality dental care is provided to protect the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Responsibilities may include and not be limited to: Diagnosing, treating, and providing preventative care for patients Creating treatment plans and performing dental procedures, such as extractions and restorations Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
