What You'll Do
As a Dental Lab Technician, you'll fabricate fixed and removable dental prostheses using both conventional techniques and advanced digital workflows. You'll interpret dental prescriptions and technical instructions to produce restorations that meet exacting standards for fit, function, and aesthetics.
You'll work with a variety of materials, including dental alloys, ceramics, and acrylics, using both casting and CAD/CAM methods. Tasks include 3D printing, milling, finishing, and polishing prosthetic devices to ensure they are ready for clinical use. You'll also maintain digital lab equipment and ensure all systems operate efficiently.
Documentation, inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols are essential parts of the role. You'll stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to a high-standard laboratory environment that supports education and patient care.
Requirements
A High School Diploma is required, along with at least two years of hands-on experience in a dental laboratory setting. You must have strong knowledge of prosthetic design and dental materials, as well as proven skill in building, repairing, and adjusting dental appliances.
Proficiency with dental CAM software such as 3Shape and Delfin Dental is necessary. Manual precision, attention to detail, and the ability to solve technical challenges independently are critical. Strong organizational abilities and effective communication skills are also required to collaborate successfully within a multidisciplinary setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited dental laboratory technology program is preferred. Certification as a Dental Technician (CDT) is also a plus.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Columbus, Ohio. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no remote option available.
Compensation
Hourly pay ranges from $19.28 to $25.19, depending on experience and education level.
