Henry Schein One LLC is hiring a Dental Equipment Service Technician to provide critical repair services directly in dental practitioners' offices in the Indianapolis, IN area. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of dental equipment, working under supervision to develop your skills and ensure high customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Provide courteous and professional on-site repair services for dental equipment.
- Complete installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks under supervision.
- Follow troubleshooting steps to diagnose technical problems and determine solutions.
- Comprehend customer requirements and make recommendations to optimize their experience.
- Provide and maintain necessary tools and manage proper inventory levels in your service van.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports and review all work orders with customers.
- Communicate in a timely manner with team members and dispatchers on assignment progress.
- Submit all job-related paperwork, including FDA Forms and expense reports, within required timeframes.
- Attend all required training, including career development and manufacturer technical training.
- Comply with all OSHA regulations, utilize personal protective equipment, and adhere to the Fleet Management Policy.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- 2 or more years of field service experience.
- A basic mechanical background.
- A customer service background.
Nice to Have
- An Associate's degree or Technical School Certification.
Team & Environment
You will work under the direction of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator, collaborating closely with experienced technicians and your supervisor.
Work Mode
This is an on-site position based in Indianapolis, IN.
