GSR is looking for a DeFi Trader to ideate, develop, and maintain our trading algorithms across decentralized exchanges and blockchains. You'll leverage the firm's trading infrastructure and internal DeFi team to build strategies.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement automated trading algorithms tailored to DeFi venues and blockchains.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to improve trading strategies and risk management.
- Discover, test, and validate new patterns and trading signals using backtesting.
- Collaborate with quantitative trading and research teams to create robust automated solutions.
- Stay current with DeFi developments to identify short-term opportunities and inform long-term strategy.
What We're Looking For
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience with DeFi-focused trading strategies, professionally or personally.
- Strong familiarity with DEXs, protocol mechanics, blockchain fundamentals, and smart contract security.
- Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills.
- Experience writing code to process and analyze large data sets.
- Proficiency in software development and engineering principles.
