EY is looking for a Databricks Architect to join our global team and lead international projects. You will be responsible for designing solution architecture for organizations in the cloud, using an advanced technology stack while working with top industry leaders.
What You'll Do
- Design solution architecture for organizations in the cloud.
- Solve complex business problems at large scale.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and collaborate across various domains.
- Interact with specialists, product/project managers, and partners from all over the world.
- Facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions.
- Create reliable solution plans with business and multi-disciplinary teams, including cost estimation and delivery approaches.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of professional, hands-on experience building complex solutions.
- 3+ years in an Architect role designing and building complex data solutions.
- 4+ years of experience in Databricks, including engineering, governance, and security.
- 3+ years of experience with Azure or AWS cloud products and services.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and pySpark.
- Knowledge of Databricks novelties like Lakebridge, Lakeflow, Lakebase, and Agent Bricks.
- Understanding of data fabric, data mesh, and data vault.
- Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions.
- Experience creating reliable solution plans with business and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking to research client inquiries and emerging issues.
- Experience using Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- English at C1 level.
Nice to Have
- Strong understanding and experience with design techniques of relational databases.
- Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation.
