DriveWhip is hiring a Data Scientist to join our Data Strategy & Analytics team. In this role, you'll focus on personalization and customer analytics, partnering with commercial teams to translate business questions into analytical and machine learning solutions that drive tangible impact.
What You'll Do
- Partner with product, marketing, and operations teams to turn business needs into analytical solutions.
- Analyze large-scale customer and product data to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities.
- Develop and refine customer segmentation models to support targeted marketing and personalization.
- Build and improve recommendation systems, including collaborative, content-based, or hybrid approaches.
- Select, train, and evaluate machine learning models with a strong focus on business outcomes.
- Define and track performance metrics for personalization and recommendation use cases.
- Support data quality, enrichment, and modeling during migration to PIM and CDP platforms.
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.
What We're Looking For
- Mid-level: 2+ years as a Data Scientist. Senior: 5+ years designing and delivering data-driven solutions.
- Hands-on experience with customer analytics, personalization, segmentation, or recommender systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with common ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Solid foundation in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation & interpretation.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into analytical approaches.
- Comfortable presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong English communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or other data-intensive industries.
- Exposure to LLMs or AI techniques for practical business use cases like data enrichment, tagging, or content analysis.
