BMW Group is hiring an Alternant Data Scientist to directly contribute to the development of BMW Finance's data-driven strategy. You will analyze complex datasets, automate key processes, and deploy machine learning models, working transversally across all departments.
What You'll Do
- Analyze data to transform it into actionable information for the business
- Automate internal controls and data quality rules
- Develop, deploy, and maintain Machine Learning models in production
- Automate BI reports using Tableau software
- Maintain the data source repository (Business Data Dictionary)
- Work transversally with all departments to support their data needs
- Proactively propose solutions to support business objectives
- Help develop and promote a strong Data culture within BMW Finance
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree at a university or engineering school with a specialization in Data and/or statistics
- Demonstrable experience in the data field
- Mastery of SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, and VBA
- Good command of data processing techniques
- Very good business knowledge of finance
- Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, strong team spirit, and autonomy
