TensorOps is hiring a Data Scientist I to join our team. In this role, you'll develop methods to consolidate and analyze diverse data sets, generating insights and solutions that enhance our programs and customer offerings. You'll be responsible for identifying and interpreting key findings and communicating them effectively to management.
What You'll Do
- Mine, model, and analyze large datasets using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
- Develop insights from historical loan performance data, identify swap-in opportunities, and create credit solutions using various analytical techniques.
- Develop and support custom score models for underwriting, pricing, and profitability.
- Forecast marketing campaign performance and track results against targets.
- Design and deploy model monitoring frameworks to assess performance across partner portfolios, new product launches, and existing customer portfolios, advising senior management of emerging trends and risks.
- Collaborate with vendors and technology teams to ensure new strategies and models are implemented accurately.
- Conduct other ad hoc analyses as required to support team goals.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
- Up to 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Ability to handle a large volume of data and derive actionable insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with solid business acumen.
- Strong written and communication skills with the ability to explain complex insights to a range of audiences.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the consumer credit industry is a plus.
