AutoScout24 Engine GmbH is looking for a Data Scientist, Economics to join our global Data Science team. You will build quantitative and machine learning-driven solutions that impact millions of users, turning data into scalable products that drive business value. You will own models end-to-end with a strong focus on implementation and impact.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and deploy predictive and generative AI systems for marketplace and fintech use cases.
Own complex quantitative modelling and ML use cases end-to-end — from problem framing to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
Integrate ML and GenAI components into scalable product systems.
Translate product and business goals into robust, data-driven solutions.
Monitor model performance in production and continuously improve reliability and impact.
Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to ship measurable AI-enabled features.

What We're Looking For

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong working knowledge of economics, pricing, or business operations, serving as a subject matter expert.
3 - 5+ years of experience building and deploying quantitative and ML systems in production.
Strong hands-on skills in Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks.
Experience deploying models via APIs and working with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure.
Solid understanding of ML methods, evaluation, monitoring, and MLOps practices.
Experience integrating ML or GenAI components into real-world software systems.
