Responsibilities
- Use Jupiter within the Advana platform to integrate and work with naval data across readiness pillars.
- Create reports, dashboards, and data sets for internal and external collaboration.
- Combine multiple data sources, perform data cleaning, shaping, and modeling to produce visualizations and reports that enable actionable insights.
- Assist in data collection, conduct analytical reviews, and recommend improvements to Equipment Readiness policies.
- Help define software development requirements for Readiness Reporting and cost models on behalf of NECC and OPNAV.
- Analyze raw data and produce decision-support products such as historical trends, reports, graphical data presentations, and recommendations.
- Assist with or independently perform quantitative analysis of financial, materiel inventory, and materiel assessment data related to risk management.
- Use mathematical and statistical methods to quantify the value of materiel solutions needed to increase combat power and readiness from force to individual unit level.
- Assist with or independently prepare economic analysis of NECC force-wide materiel asset requirements, including Table of Allowance (TOA) and TOA inventory, and research historical cost data for TOA maintenance, replacement, and technical refresh for NECC units.
- Analyze current resource utilization and project future resource requirements for materiel segments, and conduct routine or continuing cost studies.
- Participate in developing procurement plans and program objectives by evaluating cost/readiness tradeoffs and budget requirements or constraints.
- Assist with or independently perform special assignments aligned with Materiel Readiness strategic objectives, such as cross-functional team initiatives and force readiness improvement initiatives.
- Complete administrative assignments to develop knowledge of the mission and organization of the force material readiness community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent graduate degree, or 4 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Secret DoD Clearance.
