Double the Donation is looking for a part-time Data Insights Specialist to join our mission-driven team. You will transform raw and cleaned data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions, directly supporting nonprofit and educational outreach, fundraising strategies, and business development initiatives. Your work will focus on identifying trends, segmentation opportunities, and high-value targets.
What You'll Do
- Analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for outreach and engagement
- Segment and prioritize nonprofit and educational partners based on potential impact and giving behavior
- Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to inform sales, marketing, and program decisions
- Collaborate with data collection and entity resolution team members to ensure accuracy of insights
- Continuously refine analytical methods and processes to improve decision-making
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience, ideally within SaaS environments
- Demonstrated success in previous roles, supported by academic and career achievements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Nice to Have
- Strong SQL and data manipulation skills (e.g., Python/Pandas, Excel Power Query, or similar tools)
- Familiarity with matching techniques such as fuzzy matching, probabilistic linkage, and rule-based logic
- Experience working with CRMs or data warehouses
- Background in data quality, normalization, and data governance best practices
