As a Data Entry Specialist in Freight Audit, you'll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of international shipping data. Working remotely, you'll use the Freight Audit web platform to input and verify invoices and credit notes, ensuring all entries meet strict compliance standards, including GDPR. Your responsibilities will include retrieving invoice data from external systems, documenting updates in line with business needs, and supporting continuous improvements in operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate within the Freight Audit platform to register and validate freight-related financial documents
- Retrieve and process invoice data from external databases
- Collaborate with internal teams through JIRA to clarify job requirements and resolve discrepancies
- Engage with clients and carriers via platform-based communication tools to address issues
- Escalate time-sensitive risks to leadership when delivery timelines are at risk
- Support process optimization in coordination with Delivery Experts
- Maintain organized, up-to-date working documentation aligned with evolving business needs
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Auditing, Logistics, International Economic Relations, Banking, or Finance. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage routine tasks with precision are essential. You must be comfortable working independently while remaining a collaborative team member, capable of adapting to change and managing stress effectively.
Proficiency in English is required, with strong written communication skills for professional correspondence. Familiarity with Google Workspace, MS Office, and JIRA is preferred. Experience with data handling in regulated environments and a results-oriented mindset will support success in this role.
