Pennylane is looking for a Data Engineering Manager to lead our data infrastructure strategy and team. You will be responsible for architecting scalable data platforms that support business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision making across the company.

What You'll Do

Lead and mentor the data engineering team, setting technical direction and best practices
Design and implement scalable, reliable data pipelines and infrastructure
Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to define data requirements
Establish data governance, quality standards, and security protocols
Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and technical roadmaps
Evaluate and integrate new data technologies and tools

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in data engineering with 2+ years in a leadership or management role
Proven track record designing and building scalable data platforms and ETL pipelines
Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and distributed data processing
Experience with cloud data technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure data services)
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing data engineering talent
