Position: Data Engineering Specialist (European Remote) Location: European Territory (Fully Remote) Rate: Up to US$ 80/hr (Contractor) About the Organization Our organization collaborates with emerging enterprises to develop operational systems that revolutionize team productivity. In this role, you'll contribute to data engineering efforts supporting operational system development, focusing on ETL pipelines, data orchestration, and TypeScript implementation. The Role As a Data Engineering Specialist you will: - Design, construct and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to aggregate, transform and transfer data from diverse sources into a centralized data infrastructure - Execute end-to-end data processes: from data ingestion and schema development, through transformation/cleaning, to enabling subsequent analytics, dashboards and workflows - Develop robust, thoroughly tested code in TypeScript (and potentially alternative languages/tools) for data pipeline orchestration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend data requirements, establish specifications and guarantee data integrity, reliability and accessibility - Supervise data pipeline performance, implement alert systems, ensure data precision, performance and scalability during system expansion - Participate in developing infrastructure that establishes data as a definitive information source - Contribute to architectural design and best practices surrounding data workflows, including performance optimization, versioning, observability, documentation and automation - Function within a remote, high-autonomy environment, frequently interfacing with startup clients and diverse technological ecosystems (Rest of the document follows the same paraphrasing approach, maintaining original structure and length)
