Matthew Bender & Company, Inc. is hiring a Data Discovery and Enrichment Expert II to join the Data Discovery and Enrichment Organization at LexisNexis. In this full-time role, you will use your legal domain expertise to create intermediate-level insights and recommendations critical to building the best features and products for our customers. You will execute projects with limited oversight, applying best practices for training data and AI model evaluation.
What You'll Do
- Perform legal research and analysis.
- Communicate actionable feedback and insights.
- Execute best practices in the creation and maintenance of training data and relevance evaluations.
- Provide support to Leads and Senior Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts.
- Participate in presentations to internal stakeholders.
- Advocate for Responsible AI.
What We're Looking For
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Moderate professional legal experience.
- Competence in legal research and writing.
- A natural problem-solving ability.
- A customer-centric mindset.
- The ability to collaborate with your team to advance projects.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing.
- Proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint, and similar programs.
- Working knowledge or understanding of agile and lean methodologies.
Nice to Have
- Substantial, end-to-end civil litigation experience spanning case inception and client intake through trial.
Team & Environment
You will work within the Data Discovery and Enrichment Organization, partnering with data scientists, data engineers, and product managers. You will start by working closely with senior team members, progressing to independent work.

- U.S. National Base Pay Range: $71,600 - $119,400. Geographic differentials may apply.
