ICF is hiring a Data Collection Systems Developer to work on a national project supporting legal representation for unaccompanied children. In this remote role, you will develop and maintain the project’s data and case management tracking system, while providing technical support and consultation to the Operations team.
What You'll Do
- Customize and maintain the case tracking system based on project requirements.
- Integrate external systems with SharePoint by pulling data from other sources and automating data exchange using tools like Power Automate, Microsoft Graph API, or custom scripts.
- Automate data synchronization across platforms to ensure accurate and timely updates in SharePoint.
- Design, build, and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and data-collection forms.
- Develop automated workflows in Power Automate for process efficiency, notifications, and data synchronization.
- Create user-friendly data entry interfaces using SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Manage permissions, content structure, and data governance in SharePoint.
- Troubleshoot system issues, resolve SharePoint errors, and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with program teams, IT, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Develop documentation, SOPs, and user guides for SharePoint systems and automated workflows.
- Ensure scalability, security, and compliance with organizational data policies.
- Troubleshoot case management system issues and provide user support.
- Assist with data extraction and reporting.
- Contribute to project reporting, evaluation activities, data collection, and continuous quality improvement.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of intermediate experience documenting system requirements and customizing technology solutions to meet them.
- 3+ years experience working with SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and spreadsheets, including conditional formatting, filtering, sorting, and the use of functions.
Nice to Have
- A Master’s degree.
- Strong proficiency in SharePoint Online development (sites, lists, libraries, content types).
- Advanced experience with Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, automated notifications, integrations).
- Familiarity with Power Apps for form customization and user interface development.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools: Teams, OneDrive, Excel, Forms, and Dynamics (optional).
- Understanding of data structures, workflows, and business process automation.
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into functional system designs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.
- Proficient in use and customization of legal case tracking software.

- Salary range: $81,094.00 - $137,860.00
