TensorWave is looking for a Data Center Electrical Engineer to be responsible for the design, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical systems supporting mission-critical data center environments. You will collaborate with facilities, construction, and IT teams to support both new builds and existing operations across multiple data centers.

What You'll Do

Design and review electrical systems to support data center operations, including power distribution, redundancy, and fault tolerance.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure.
Monitor system performance and respond to power-related issues and outages.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA), and company policies.
Conduct root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective/preventive measures.
Support capacity planning and risk assessments for electrical systems.
Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems and schematics.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3–7+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
Proficiency with electrical modeling software and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of power systems, grounding, coordination studies, and electrical safety.
Experience with UPS, switchgear, backup generators, PDUs, and BMS systems.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
