First American is hiring a Data Business Analyst to join our team remotely. In this role, you will provide crucial data analytical services to the business by gathering operational data, examining past performance, and delivering actionable recommendations to enhance our data processes and content.

What You’ll Do

Utilize data and operations knowledge to identify issues, inefficiencies, and insights for business and ETL/IT development teams.
Collect data, perform mathematical calculations and research using various tools, and determine how data samples can best profit the business.
Define business process requirements, research alternatives, prepare presentations, drive solutions, and conduct testing.
Participate in projects involving data aggregations and custom solutions.
Work with business partners and SMEs to document business processes, train offshore resources, and standardize operating procedures.
Generate and create reports for analysis.

What We’re Looking For

High School Diploma required.
Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of directly related experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data and business analysis.
Strong analytical skills to determine root cause of problems and apply creative, effective solutions.
Proficient data management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a moderate degree of technical aptitude.
Ability to formulate conclusions and define next steps upon project completion.

Benefits & Compensation

Compensation range: $62,700 - $83,575.
