What You'll Do
Take full ownership of analytics for the Book on Vio product domain, serving as the primary data authority for product, commercial, and operational teams. Partner directly with Product Managers to define success metrics, shape roadmaps, and prioritize initiatives based on data-driven impact estimates.
Lead and develop a small team of Product Analysts through coaching, performance feedback, and career growth support. Embed with a core product team by attending sprint rituals and contributing to agile workflows, ensuring analytics is integrated from concept to launch.
Design and evaluate A/B tests to measure feature performance, then translate results into clear, actionable recommendations. Investigate user behavior patterns to uncover opportunities for improving conversion, retention, and overall experience across key flows like Deal Freeze and Split Booking.
Build and maintain reliable data models and dashboards using dbt and Looker, ensuring accurate tracking and visibility into critical booking funnel metrics. Proactively detect data anomalies and collaborate with engineering to resolve root causes. Support financial reporting accuracy through close collaboration with Finance and assist Customer Support in identifying efficiency gains.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience applying data analysis to influence product and business outcomes
- Proven background in travel tech, online travel agencies, or e-commerce platforms
- Track record of managing and growing analytics teams
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, event tracking, and data modeling with tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Strong grasp of experimental design and statistical methods for A/B testing
- Ability to distill complex datasets into clear insights and communicate them effectively across teams
- Customer-centric mindset with strong product intuition and analytical rigor
