Sartorius is looking for a Data Analytics Sales Development Specialist to drive sales of data analytics solutions, focusing on the biopharmaceutical sector. In this remote role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client portfolios, and achieving sales targets.
What You'll Do
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the data analytics space within the assigned territory and key accounts.
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and expansion opportunities.
- Conduct needs assessments and propose tailored data solutions to meet client objectives.
- Collaborate with technical teams to scope projects and develop winning proposals.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor solutions, and emerging technologies.
- Represent Sartorius Data Analytics at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science/Biotechnology discipline or a related field OR 5+ years of relevant practical experience with a demonstrated ability and proven competency to work effectively as an Account Manager within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel up to 40% (adjusted based on sales region).

Nice to Have
- Sales experience within the biopharmaceutical sector.
- Strong understanding of data analytics platforms, especially Multivariate data analysis and the Umetrics products portfolio.

- Compensation: $95,000-$130,000 base salary depending upon experience and qualifications.
