Join Munich Re as a Data Analytics Intern from May to December 2026. In this role, you will be part of the Global Audit Community, reporting to the Actuarial Auditor APAC & MEA. You'll gain hands-on experience applying data analytics and AI to audit processes, supporting fieldwork, and contributing to democratizing these capabilities across the audit function.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the development and deployment of data analytics and AI solutions to enhance audit effectiveness.
- Assist in SharePoint analysis, assess data quality, design Power BI dashboards, and explore practical AI use cases for audit.
- Support the coordination and implementation of data analytics initiatives to enhance productivity and impact across regions.
- Apply advanced analytics during audit fieldwork, including real-time data extraction, cleansing, and interpretation to support audit objectives.
- Document and share best practices and use cases to foster knowledge sharing within the audit community.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Hands-on exposure to data analytics and AI through university coursework or internship experience.
- Familiar with tools such as Power BI, R, Python, and SQL.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a multicultural environment and is eager to learn and share knowledge.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve results.
- Available for a full-time commitment from May to December 2026.
