SAS Institute Inc. is looking for a Customer Success Manager to partner with assigned customers to maximize the value, adoption, and continuous achievement of outcomes from SAS software and solutions. You will act as an organizer to systematically and reproducibly achieve customer success by deeply understanding customer business KPIs, operational challenges, and IT strategies.
What You'll Do
- Drive strategy, planning, and execution to maximize value delivered to existing customers and expand revenue.
- Understand the business and/or IT problems customers are trying to solve and co-define customer success plans.
- Share plans with sales, customer advisory, professional services, and cloud departments.
- Develop and support plans to cultivate and expand the SAS user base within customer organizations.
- Foster strong SAS advocates within customer organizations at specific levels (IT, users, management).
- Encourage community formation within customers to enable self-sufficiency.
- Promote increased customer touchpoints and enhanced engagement.
- Standardize and promote broad engagement measures such as planning and executing community events.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote information dissemination using digital tools and secure references.
- Coordinate with global marketing events.
- Take a cross-departmental lead in communicating with customers and addressing emerging issues.
- Support smooth contract renewals by collaborating with customer renewal teams.
- Adhere to all applicable security policies and processes to support organizational secure software development goals.

What We're Looking For
- 3-5+ years of experience in solution proposal activities, business development activities, implementation for customers, or experience in customer success departments.
- Experience in planning and executing business improvement/reform initiatives, or planning customer-facing events and information dissemination in marketing activities.
- Basic knowledge and interest in each sector (trends, innovation, challenges, economy, digital) and ability to build trust with customer contacts.
- Ability to understand the potential of SAS solutions in various industries/domains and identify customer business value.
- Ability to promote standardization and execution of measures with awareness of reproducibility and continuity.
- Desired personal attributes: autonomy, judgment, results-oriented.
- Problem-solving skills and agile approach.
- Open-mindedness to self-development and giving/receiving feedback from others.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training, and practical experience may be considered in lieu of the above qualifications.
Nice to Have
- Experience in data-driven decision-making for policy consideration and implementation is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAS solutions, cloud, and AI-related technologies is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, or experience in AI/analytics may be considered.
