About the Role

B&G Foods is hiring a Customer Sales Manager to drive sales and build productive customer relationships for all Albertson's Divisions. You will lead through fact-based selling in a direct selling and/or broker capacity.

What You'll Do

  • Sell products directly to retailers, end-users, or distributors within your assigned territory or accounts.
  • Maintain corporate-mandated profit contribution levels by effectively managing your assigned spending budgets.
  • Utilize syndicated data to identify opportunities and provide management with post-analysis results.
  • Manage the trade spending budget and deliver financial sales responsibility driven by senior leadership.
  • Evaluate current and competitive product pricing, promotions, and sales strategies for potential business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Customer Inventory Analysts and corporate teams on production forecasting for assigned brands.
  • Develop recommendations for displays and other promotional activities to effectively optimize sales growth.
  • Guide the retail broker team in determining monthly objectives and assist directly in the overall management of the broker team.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 3-5 years of field sales experience.
  • Previous sales experience within the food industry.
  • Previous Albertson's experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding trends and making recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience with Nielsen, Retail Link, and Shiloh.
  • Understanding of the customers' co-managed replenishment system.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thorough understanding of retail/grocery.
  • Thorough understanding of B&G's portfolio of brands.
  • Good understanding of syndicated data information sources.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
