Lear Corporation is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to join a new Just-in-Time manufacturing plant in Plavecký Štvrtok, Slovakia. In this role, you will be responsible for fulfilling specific customer quality requirements and driving continuous quality improvements for premium vehicle seats.
What You'll Do
- Fulfill specific customer requirements regarding quality.
- Propose changes and deviations based on analysis of finished product defects, non-conformities, external audit results, and end-user complaints.
- Process control procedures for specific quality control performance of finished products.
- Propose corrective and preventive actions to improve product and process quality.
- Manage direct communication with the customer and operate customer portals.
- Verify the effectiveness of implemented measures.
- Coordinate the implementation of product changes.
- Perform process audits.
- Prepare the project for customer visits.
What We're Looking For
- Completed secondary school or university education.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of English language at a minimum intermediate level.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015.
- Practical knowledge of quality core tools: PPAP, FMEA, 8D, MSA, SPC.
