S&P Global is hiring a Customer Operations - Platform & Systems Specialist

About the Role

The Customer Operations Platform & Systems Specialist will play a key role in supporting the design, implementation, and optimization of the Customer Success technology ecosystem at S&P Global. This position focuses on enhancing platforms like Gainsight, integrating systems such as Salesforce and Snowflake, and enabling data-driven workflows to improve operational efficiency for Customer Success teams.

What You'll Do

  • Support the administration and daily operations of the Customer Success platform (Gainsight), ensuring system stability, data accuracy, and user adoption
  • Assist in managing integrations between Gainsight, Salesforce, Snowflake, and other internal systems
  • Support configuration of workflows, automation, and system processes that enable Customer Success teams to operate more efficiently
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather data requirements and ensure customer data is properly structured and accessible
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide visibility into customer engagement, adoption, and operational performance
  • Work with analytics and data teams to ensure accurate data flows between operational systems and reporting platforms
  • Identify opportunities to streamline Customer Success processes through system automation and workflow optimization
  • Support the design and implementation of automated alerts, health indicators, and engagement workflows within the Customer Success platform
  • Assist in developing scalable processes that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort for Customer Success teams
  • Partner with Customer Success, Product, Commercial, and Data teams to translate operational needs into system configurations and data solutions
  • Support the rollout of new platform capabilities, including documentation, testing, and user enablement
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Customer Success Operations
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, data structures, and operational processes
  • Ensure operational standards are followed for data hygiene, system governance, and platform usage

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in Customer Success Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Systems, or a related analytics/operations role
  • Experience working with business systems such as Salesforce, Power BI, Snowflake, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into system workflows and data solutions
  • Experience building or supporting dashboards, reports, or data models for operational teams
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Interest in Customer Success technology and platform administration

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Customer Success platforms such as Gainsight, Totanga, or similar tools (if applicable)
  • Experience working with data pipelines, APIs, or system integrations
  • Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, or analytics tools
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle management or customer success processes
  • Exposure to machine learning or AI-driven analytics applications in business operation
