UCB is hiring a Customer Engagement & Special Projects Manager to drive business excellence and support the execution of key strategic initiatives across the Mexican affiliate. This role leads the implementation of critical cross-functional projects and serves as the single point of contact between the affiliate and Regional/Global teams for strategic initiatives above country. What You'll Do
- Drive the execution of critical cross-functional and priority strategic initiatives, ensuring delivery against scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, and quality standards.
- Oversee end-to-end program management activities, including planning, governance routines, documentation, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Steer budgeting, forecasting, resourcing, and governance processes to enable effective business excellence delivery.
- Champion the adoption of project management methodologies and enhance execution frameworks through continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary liaison across Commercial, Medical, Omnichannel, I2I, Talent, Med Ops, and Market Access teams, ensuring alignment, timely communication, and issue resolution.
- Partner with the Regional team to shape and advance transformation initiatives that elevate organizational effectiveness and stakeholder experience.
- Enable access to subject-matter experts and coordinate capability-building and learning agendas across functions.
- Collaborate with HQ partners to ensure strategic and operational alignment with global standards and solutions.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and implement best-practice processes to strengthen efficiency and performance.
- Ensure flawless execution of day-to-day operations and strategic projects, driving consistency, impact, and operational rigor.
- Lead audit remediation activities in partnership with relevant departments, ensuring timely and compliant resolution.
- Oversee procurement-related activities, inventory coordination, and supplier engagement where required.
- Develop and oversee KPI frameworks and performance metrics to measure outcomes, inform decisions, and guide continuous improvement.
- Deliver high-quality executive reports, presentations, and governance materials for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support progress tracking and reporting for Customer Engagement initiatives, including AI and Process Excellence.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Orchestrate logistics for key meetings, workshops, trainings, and project-related events to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain well-structured project documentation, communications, and operational records to support execution excellence.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Consumer Industry with a strong background in project management and cross-functional program delivery.
- Advanced expertise in project management methodologies, and digital/AI-driven platforms (algorithms, multi-platform solutions).
- Proven track record leading complex initiatives, managing multiple priorities, and operating effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and modern project management tools.

- Strong adaptability, with the ability to pivot quickly in response to evolving business needs.
- Ability to operate autonomously while effectively engaging with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in training, capability-building, or learning program coordination is highly desirable.
- Project Management certification (completed or in progress) is a strong asset.
- Relevant pharmaceutical experience, including internships or rotations, preferred.
