About the Role

The Coca-Cola Company is hiring for a Customer Development Manager to join our NAOU Sales Organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving volume and revenue through proactive account management and the sale of complex, volume-driving initiatives. You will support a portfolio of accounts via phone sales and close collaboration with assigned account teams.

What You'll Do

  • Complete proactive customer contacts via telephone to build relationships and secure commitment for sales programs.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to steward the business and create operational and personal value for the customer.
  • Identify customer opportunities through discovery to prioritize focus areas.
  • Coordinate the implementation of agreed-upon activities within your geographical responsibility.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and re-negotiations with customers and the Coca-Cola System.
  • Manage customer marketing reimbursements and local store funding programs.
  • Accurately capture customer interactions using current CRM systems.
  • Manage individual performance to ensure effective customer contacts and successful sales initiative execution.
  • Provide feedback to the Customer Development Leadership Team on opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and execute an Individual Development Plan for personal growth.
  • Work with cross-functional teams like Customer Agreement and Finance to execute contracts.
  • Sell, process, and install Coca-Cola Freestyle.
  • Resolve service issues and approve reimbursements.
  • Authorize account transfer requests.
  • Steward work in Regional and Account Team meetings.
  • Flex your work week to input Equipment Order docs, take calls, or join team calls after hours.
  • Build customer presentations.
  • Potentially travel to customer events, training, and sales conferences.

  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in effectively communicating with and influencing customers.
  • Proven ability to problem solve and provide viable solutions.
  • Proven ability to provide quality Customer Service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective collaborating skills.
  • Ability to actively listen and engage in conversation with customers to uncover opportunities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to facilitate and accelerate the business relationship based on customer understanding.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business-to-business relationships and transfer personal equity.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how one's actions impact the company's relationship with consumers.
  • Ability to use information tools (Salesforce, Design Machine, CokeSolutions.com, National Sales Tool Kit, Matrix/MFE, BRIM, Microsoft Outlook Applications, KO Tickets, Power BI) to evaluate performance and access data.

  • 1+ years of frontline sales experience.

Team & Environment

This is an individual contributor role within the NAOU Sales Organization, reporting to the Customer Development Leadership Team.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $85,000 - $100,900
  • A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position.

This position is based locally in Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America.
