Sur La Table is looking for an HR Generalist, Field Support to provide comprehensive human resources partnership and support across our retail field organization. You will serve as a trusted advisor to store leaders, ensuring HR initiatives align with business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Partner with store leadership to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
- Conduct field visits and support investigations for complex employee relations matters.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support the execution of HR programs, including talent reviews, performance cycles, and succession planning.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations to business leaders.
- Facilitate training and development sessions for managers on key HR topics.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multi-unit retail or field support environment.
- Proven expertise in employee relations, performance management, and employment law compliance.
- Ability to travel regularly to various locations as required for field support.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and coach leaders.
- Experience analyzing data to inform HR strategies and business decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Mode
This is a field-based role supporting locations across the US. It involves a combination of remote work and regular travel to retail stores.
