Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer credit risk by analyzing financial statements, payment records, credit reports, and internal account data, and propose credit limits and terms aligned with company policies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to facilitate order release decisions, conduct customer account reviews, enhance processes, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain precise customer master and credit data, ensuring all documentation, approvals, and audit evidence are complete and retained per policy.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts within Finance Shared Services, identifying opportunities to standardize processes, increase automation, and improve service delivery.
- Ensure standard operating procedures for Credit Analyst tasks are accurate, current, and compliant with internal audit requirements and SOX controls.
- Support Order-to-Cash and Finance Shared Services colleagues with additional ad-hoc activities as needed.
Requirements
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Flexible with working hours to ensure timely completion of critical tasks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Solid understanding of Order-to-Cash processes in a Finance Shared Services or multinational context
- Capable of analyzing financial data, identifying credit risk, and providing evidence-based recommendations
- Confident in engaging with global stakeholders, including senior management
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems
- Experience with management information systems, including report writing
- Experience with collections platforms or credit management tools
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including writing macros and other automations
- At least 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable credit role
- Proficiency in an additional European language besides English
