At Rula, we’re on a mission to make mental health care more accessible by streamlining the path for providers to begin seeing patients as quickly and efficiently as possible. As a Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and scaling the systems that support our rapid growth.
What You'll Do
- Contribute directly to improving the provider experience by ensuring timely and accurate credentialing and enrollment.
- Scope enrollment requirements for new payer implementations.
- Submit applications and guide providers through each step of the credentialing and enrollment process.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support new payer launches and share operational insights.
- Help educate and support credentialing and enrollment associates as new processes and payers are introduced.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare or working with/for health insurance plans.
- Proven collaboration skills, partnering cross-functionally across teams to solve complex issues.
- Experience developing, documenting, and optimizing new processes into easy to understand documentation.
- Proficiency with operating and learning new tools/software.
Nice to Have
- Experience enrolling providers with regional or national payers (preferably behavioral health).
- Familiarity with CAQH, NPPES, CMS, & NCQA requirements.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as a startup or large, dynamic healthcare system.
- Experience working with a Credentials Verification Organization (CVO).
