Voodoo is looking for a Creative Strategist to join the Outsourcing Creative team within our Growth organization. You will own the creative vision and strategic direction for our portfolio, producing performance-driven ad creatives to attract new users and maximize campaign impact. You will identify trends, guide creative decisions, and transform market insights into actionable creative briefs that drive growth.
What You'll Do
- Define and lead the creative vision and strategy per game or app in collaboration with Creative Leads.
- Generate structured, insight-driven creative briefs based on benchmark analysis, market intelligence, and strategic ideation frameworks.
- Define guidelines, priorities, and execution standards for production on a weekly basis.
- Conduct and continuously update extensive benchmarks using internal tools and third-party platforms like MarketIQ, Apptica, and Data.ai to identify high-performing creative trends early.
- Analyze and deconstruct top-performing competitor creatives, providing actionable insights and storytelling patterns to inform ideation.
- Benchmark across mobile games such as Match-3, Hypercasual, and Hybridcasual, as well as apps including Blitz, Wizz, WeMoms, and future products.
- Collaborate with Creative Leads, Producers, and the Data Team to ensure effective adoption of benchmarks, streamline reporting, and scale creative learnings.
- Audit and improve existing creative workflows and propose strategic enhancements to maximize output and creative impact.
- Identify skill gaps in the creative team and actively participate in sourcing and recruiting new creative talent.

- Proven experience in a similar role, strategy consulting, or product/creative marketing.
- Ability to envision, articulate, and document compelling creative strategies.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, market analysis, and insight generation to align creative direction with user acquisition goals.
- Confident in using analytics and benchmarking tools to interpret data, draw insights, and optimize performance.
- Strong creative ideation skills to turn insights into powerful hypotheses and ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—capable of crafting clear briefs, persuasive recommendations, and actionable plans.
- Collaborative spirit and strong ability to challenge the status quo in a constructive and forward-thinking way.
- Fast learner with a versatile mindset, eager to innovate and iterate.
