Williams Lea by RRD is hiring a Creative Project Manager to join our team supporting a major banking client. In this hybrid role based in Columbus, OH, you will coordinate and manage a high volume of captivating and innovative presentations across multiple channels, guiding projects from initial client meeting through final delivery.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary day-to-day liaison between clients and the internal creative team.
- Manage project scheduling, estimating, obtaining detailed requirements, and job tracking.
- Establish and promote excellent customer service through proactive communication on project status.
- Assemble the appropriate resources and departments needed to successfully implement client projects.
- Enter and track a high volume of data and updates in the client project tracking system.
- Effectively manage multiple timelines and projects at various stages of the lifecycle.
- Peer proof creative work to ensure accuracy of specifications.
- Lead day-to-day management and optimization of projects using job management software.
- Attend and set relevant client meetings and project management status calls.
- Maintain contact with clients and the creative team to set milestones, create estimates, track schedules, and advise on progress.
- Maintain pre-set deadlines while understanding and adhering to client budgets.
- Track and report on quality metrics and strategize with the client to develop customer loyalty.
- Train other employees as needed.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in an area relative to the business.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar client-facing position.
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new programs and provide basic troubleshooting.
- A proactive, collaborative, and driven personality that seeks excellence in task execution.
- Experience using continuous improvement tools to create and track metrics.
- Complete understanding of the “Big Picture” to problem-solve, analyze solutions, and make sound business decisions.
- Ability to interpret client expectations and guide creative teams effectively.
- Strong project-management, organizational, and time-management skills.
- A proven track record of building strong client relationships and delivering solutions.
- Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects across multiple timelines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to anticipate client needs to serve them and increase volume and profitability.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and a basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
- Ability to work independently and manage high volumes of information during high-stress situations.
