Maximus Health is seeking a Creative Director, Marketing to lead the creative vision and establish Maximus as the definitive brand in performance medicine. In this remote role, you'll architect systems to deliver breakthrough creative at speed while building and leading a world-class creative team.
What You'll Do
- Define and evolve Maximus's visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive brand standards that scale across digital, physical, and emerging platforms.
- Create and continuously refine the brand book.
- Partner with executive leadership to translate business objectives into creative strategies.
- Build and optimize a high-velocity creative asset generation engine.
- Implement systems and workflows balancing creative excellence with business demands.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure creative impact and improve output.
- Drive adoption of emerging creative technologies and AI tools.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a creative team including designers, copywriters, and motion designers.
- Foster a culture of creative excellence, experimentation, and accountability.
- Develop clear career paths and growth opportunities for team members.
- Balance in-house capabilities with strategic external partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Growth, Clinical, Science, Technology, Sales, and Partnership teams.
- Oversee all creative output including campaigns, digital experiences, product design, and content.
- Ensure every creative touchpoint reinforces Maximus's premium leadership position.
- Champion innovative approaches to differentiate Maximus.
- Maintain hands-on involvement in flagship projects while delegating effectively.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of creative leadership experience.
- At least 3 years building and managing creative teams.
- Proven track record of building brands in health, wellness, technology, or premium consumer sectors.
- Deep expertise in brand development, visual systems, and multi-channel creative execution.
- Experience building high-performance creative operations balancing quality with velocity.
- Portfolio demonstrating breakthrough creative work that drives measurable business results.
- Strong understanding of digital-first creative and emerging platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present to and influence C-level stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field.
Nice to Have
- MFA or advanced degree.
Team & Environment
You will lead a creative team including designers, copywriters, motion designers, and production specialists, reporting directly to executive leadership.
