Stone Tech is looking for a Senior Software Engineer .NET to join our Credit team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enabling credit offerings for entrepreneurs and managing the receivables flow for Stone Co. You will work within a collaborative team environment with specific guidance from direct leadership.
What You'll Do
- Manage the receivables flow of Stone Co.
- Act as a technical reference for projects with high depth in a specific platform or product.
- Ensure the quality, scalability, and best practices of the product or platform you are responsible for.
- Understand and contribute to the company's strategic and operational plans.
- Potentially lead a small number of people directly, being responsible for their HR and development processes.
- Work within the team following specific guidance from direct leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Kotlin, Go, Python, or Rust.
- Proficiency in software architecture topics including programming paradigms, design patterns, and architectural styles.
- A strong culture of automated testing (unit and integration).
- A solid engineering culture encompassing System Design, observability, CI/CD, and agile methods.
- Experience with distributed systems topics: network protocols (TCP/UDP), REST, RPC, and messaging (queues, PubSub, streaming).
- Experience developing cloud-native applications (Cloud Native, 12-factors, PaaS).
- Experience handling high-scalability systems.
- A solid technical foundation in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and interpret execution plans.
Nice to Have
- Advanced experience in .NET.
- Experience with AZURE for high-availability transactional applications.
- Experience working with financial platforms and mission-critical systems.
