GDIT is looking for an experienced C# .NET Developer to join our DOJ OJP team. You will be a key problem solver on the application development team, designing, building, testing, and deploying solutions hosted in multiple cloud and Windows environments.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements and bug fixes.
- Participate in backlog grooming, requirements gathering, and solution design sessions.
- Perform upgrades to system components as needed.
- Troubleshoot occasional system issues.
- Support security audits and contribute to improving system security.
- Monitor system performance to identify optimization and improvement opportunities.
- Develop technical documentation and instructions for team support and publication.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 1+ years of C# software design and development experience.
- Hands-on experience with .NET Framework (4.x) development and configuration.
- Proficiency with ASP.NET Web Forms (2.x – 4.x), ASP.NET MVC (3.x+), and ASP.NET Web API development.
- Experience with Microsoft Entity Framework and Microsoft SQL Server 2019+ database development.
- Skills in JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML 5.0.
- Experience with Elasticsearch/AWS OpenSearch.
- Ability to develop technical documentation.
- Amazon (AWS) development experience.
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an Agency-specific Public Trust clearance.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kanban and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience developing and executing strategies to manage technical debt.
- A master's degree or additional professional software development experience, which may be preferred for this remote position.
