Kidde Global Solutions is hiring a Country Controller for Poland to oversee and coordinate control activities for multiple KGS entities across the country. You will ensure all key financial activities comply with US GAAP, local GAAP, Corporate Policies, and Sarbanes Oxley requirements while supporting the broader mission of KGS Corporation Finance.

What You'll Do

Develop, direct, plan, and evaluate accounting activities to ensure alignment with US GAAP and corporate policies, focusing on external and statutory compliance.
Oversee closing activities, reconciliations, statutory reporting, tax reporting support, and third-party management.
Manage and analyze financial activities in accordance with accounting principles to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
Perform monthly and quarterly close and consolidation processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.
Prepare and file all required statutory statements.
Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, control processes, and financial reports.
Prepare budgets and forecasts, compare actual costs to budget, and ensure adherence.
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to accurately represent the company's financial standing.
Support internal and external audits for process compliance and timely completion.
Lead small-scale projects.
Own actuals reporting, financial statement analysis, and reporting for country-level activities.
Own the full control environment for SOX reportable entities.
Oversee, identify, communicate, and resolve financial and internal control matters.
Provide key support to Global Tax, internal/external auditors, and external service providers.

What We're Looking For

A university degree in a relevant field.
8-10 years of prior relevant experience in Accounting or Controlling, gained within large business organizations.
Very good knowledge of accounting/controlling systems, tools, and the Polish tax system.
Native or fluent Polish and very good English language skills.
International and cross-cultural work experience.
A strong communicator who is energetic, assertive, and a good team player.
A well-structured and organized professional, able to set and execute priorities effectively.

Nice to Have

Consulting or Big4 experience will be an advantage.
