Role Overview
This position supports a U.S. Army EIS initiative by delivering comprehensive cost and economic analysis within the framework of Department of Defense acquisition policies. As a key contributor to the project team, you will ensure financial accuracy and compliance across all phases of program development and procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver financial and cost analysis to support program management and acquisition planning
- Prepare and maintain Cost Analysis Requirements Documents (CARD) in accordance with DoD guidelines
- Develop Economic Analysis Development Plans (EADP) and final Economic Analyses (EA)
- Conduct affordability, scenario, and sensitivity assessments to inform decision-making
- Apply cost models, historical data, and performance metrics to validate projections
- Collaborate with acquisition and program leads to shape procurement strategies and documentation
- Generate independent government cost estimates for contracting actions
- Review and audit vendor pricing, cost breakdowns, schedules, and work structures
- Present findings and updates to internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Perform internal budget reviews and cost evaluations to support business management
Technical Requirements
Proficiency in Cost Analysis Requirements Documents (CARD), Economic Analysis Development Plans (EADP), and Economic Analyses (EA) is essential. Experience with DoD Acquisition Management policies, cost modeling, program metrics, and historical performance data is required to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
Work Environment
This role currently allows for full telework and is open to remote candidates. While the position is associated with Fort Belvoir, VA, 100% remote work is authorized for cleared personnel. The work mode may evolve based on program needs and federal guidelines.
