Binance seeks a Corporate Counsel/Company Secretary to provide legal and corporate secretarial support for our operations in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. This is a critical in-house role ensuring compliance and effective governance in a dynamic market.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters affecting Binance's business in the MENA region.
- Serve as Company Secretary for local entities, managing board meetings, governance, and statutory filings.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
- Advise on regulatory developments, licensing requirements, and compliance issues specific to the MENA region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and manage legal risk.
What We're Looking For
- A qualified lawyer with a current practicing certificate in a relevant MENA jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in a similar in-house counsel or company secretary role, preferably within financial services, technology, or a regulated industry.
- Deep understanding of corporate law, governance, and compliance frameworks in multiple MENA markets.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts in English.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Work Mode
This is a full-time position offering a choice of onsite or remote work options within the Middle East & North Africa region.
