BILL is hiring a Corporate Account Executive to drive revenue by converting inbound leads and trials into paying customers. You will identify customer pain points, close business, and proactively manage your book by personally sourcing a significant portion of new opportunities. This role is central to our growing sales team in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage a variety of leads, including SDR-sourced and personally generated leads.
- Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow-up, networking, and partner relationships, with 40% of new leads sourced personally.
- Manage the full sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation, and close.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our Spend & Expense products and services.
- Understand your territory, the marketplace, competitive offerings, and relevant business issues.
- Use effective time management to maximize results.
- Document daily sales activities in Salesforce, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline, and communicate activities to sales management.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of sales experience in a closing role.
- A proven track record of performing in the top 10%-20% of your past company.
- Outbound lead sourcing experience.
- Experience and comfort working quick sales cycles (average of 40-60 days, preferably less).
- Experience with best-in-class tools such as: Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Tableau.
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours to close deals.
- Cross-collaborative experience with both lead generation and Implementation/Success teams.
- Background in Finance or Accounting, either through an undergraduate degree or direct work within the finance industry.
- Experience working with CFOs, Corporate Controllers, VPs of Finance, or similar executive roles.
- Experience in B2B and SaaS sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be powerfully persuasive, listen, earn trust, consult, and ask for a sale.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work well on a team.

- Compensation varies by zone: Zone 1: $248,600 - $298,200 USD; Zone 2: $223,700 - $268,300 USD; Zone 3: $211,200 - $253,400 USD + equity eligibility.
