Responsibilities
- Develop and support backend services and application programming interfaces
- Design scalable and fault-tolerant system architectures
- Optimize data flow and storage solutions
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Improve system reliability and performance
- Implement monitoring and alerting for backend systems
- Ensure code quality through automated testing
- Work with distributed systems and asynchronous processing
- Maintain documentation for systems and processes
- Support deployment and operational workflows
- Integrate with third-party services and APIs
- Follow security best practices in system design
- Contribute to database schema design and optimization
- Use version control and CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging backend technologies
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience with large-scale data processing systems
- Familiarity with serverless computing
- Knowledge of GraphQL
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Background in CI/CD pipeline development
- Contributions to open-source projects
